J.D. McGrew makes fine art photographs of natural light in the natural world. For seven years his cabin in Big Sur, California, was his photographic base. He now works from Sacramento and captures images from many states and countries. His goal is to reveal the color and content of scenes as he saw them, without manipulation or embellishment.
